Radiators used in the construction of various spacecraft weigh quite a lot, and every extra kilogram on board a spacecraft or rocket also costs a lot of money, because the heavier the object put into orbit, the more expensive fuel is required for it. Russian experts have found a way to slightly facilitate the construction of spacecraft through the use of ultra-light radiators.

Now radiators will be sprayed from sverhploprovodnogo carbon fiber, which will completely replace the aluminum alloys used previously. Thus, the weight of radiators will decrease by as much as 25 percent, which means that it will now be possible to install new equipment on spacecraft, which will expand the range of tasks.

Currently testing the Russian meteorological device "Arctic", made at the NPO. S.A. Lavochkin. The space probe was equipped with four new radiators, which have already passed acceptance tests. The launch of the device is scheduled for 2017. A total of 35 spacecraft were launched into orbit, equipped with components manufactured by ORPE Technologiya for eleven countries of the world. The company's specialists are working on other projects, the implementation of which is scheduled for the near future.
