Sales of the first unmanned bus will begin in the fall of 2017

The first electric mini-bus with autopilot can already be pre-ordered from the French company NAVYA, which, without noise, dust and unnecessary movements, announced the start of sales of its offspring.

The ARMA minibus is crammed with lidars, motion sensors, GPS navigators and cameras, thanks to all this, he feels great on the road, distinguishing between other cars, trees and road signs with pedestrians. It does not go as fast as we would like, but it can already be used as a leisurely miniature shuttle or even a taxi.

The ARMA bus is already carrying employees of the French NPP, delivering up to fifteen passengers at a time to their destination.

The creators note that ARMA is much more economical than its diesel counterparts, because maintenance of such an electric bus is cheaper, electricity is also cheaper than gasoline or diesel, and you don't need to hire a driver - he drives himself.

The developers do not call the prices for the electric bus, but they assure that such transport will be useful not only to the NPP employees, but also to everyone. NAVYA press service reports that the assembly of buses will begin in the near future, and shipment to customers will begin in the third quarter of this year.
