Following the sites with a large attendance and video hosting YouTube, the attacks of "black miners" were exposed websites of US and British government agencies. The expert on cyber security Scott Helme informs that at the moment thousands of websites of state bodies are involved in the secret production of crypto-currency.
Helmé told about the problem on his own Twitter, having published several posts devoted to sites on which it was possible to identify the scripts installed by intruders. The list includes sites of the Pension Fund, the National Association of Homeowners, a student loan company, the site of the US judicial system, the official website of the Indiana Government and many others.

Almost all sites caught in hidden crypto currency mining have installed CoinHive software, which hackers were able to implement through the vulnerability of the BrowseAloud extension, which allows users to use the sites for people with poor eyesight. First, the extension was hacked, and then the scripts for the mining were introduced through the "hole" that appeared.
