Former developers of Blockstream create a supercomputer on the blockroom

Recently Ben Gorlick and Johnny Dillley, two developers of the company, left Blockstream to start their own project of the decentralized cloud computer Crowd Machine. In the new startup Gorlik took the chair of the technical director, and Johnny Dilli will lead the development of the system architecture. The developers are sure that the current cloud computing systems are far from ideal, so they need to be substantially refined. In their opinion, the block-solution Crowd Machine is exactly what you need.

Gorlik explained that it is rather difficult to create other products on the basis of block systems, so the developers set a goal to change this situation. The peculiarity of Crowd Machine will be that any actions and activity of the user will be broken into parts and redirected to a network of devices, each of which will be able to process the "piece" it has received - this will allow the application to perform its tasks, but users will not be tied to it to one provider.

In addition, users, launching applications based on Crowd Machine, will be able to get paid for it. It is assumed that the program can be used on all types of devices, including those designed for the Internet of things. In the future, users can create their own applications even without knowledge of programming languages, using a special application and simply dragging the necessary interface elements into the working window of the program. Over time, it is supposed to "teach" the service to different programming languages.

The developers assure that their project will change the very principle of creating and running software, but they do not disclose the details in the interview. Now the system they have created is being tested in tandem with Ethereum, and the engineers themselves are looking for investors.
