If the current successes in the aircraft industry do not impress you, check out the project of the Spanish designer and constructor Oscar Viñals. Vinals-developed jet Falcon Flash Falcon will fly thanks to thermonuclear engines. Of course, the corresponding technologies are still waiting for their creation, but this does not stop the designer.
Vinals surprised the world with his projects before. The concepts of the Sky Whale passenger airliner and the GIGAbay cargo plane were remembered by many.

Vinal's new creation is represented not only by design, but also by technical specifications.
The Flash Falcon design anticipates the future when compact fusion reactors can deliver tremendous power. The thrust in such engines will be created by superhigh-speed turbines equipped with special combustion chambers. Engine power will be enough for vertical take-off and landing. At cruising altitudes Flash Falcon will be able to easily gain supersonic speed in three Machs. At this speed, a trip from Paris to New York will take about three hours. According to the project, the Vinal's plane will be able to take on board more than 250 passengers who will be accommodated on two decks.
Flash Falcon wings can change the geometry and angles of inclination to the axis of the fuselage. The Vinal plans to equip the cockpit with holographic windows, which will provide pilots with an unprecedented breadth of view. Vinals even came up with a special noise reduction system that will protect people on board when the Flash Falcon overcomes the sound barrier.
