Up to now, Augmented Reality has only been introduced on the market by the Microsoft HoloLens headset. All this time, the Magic Leap project loomed on the horizon, but almost nothing has been heard about it lately, and it wasn’t visible - the developers didn’t show it, which is a pity. But the other day, startup Avegant, who showed his augmented reality headset, announced himself.
The prototype of augmented reality glasses from Avegant does not look very elegant yet, but it works very well. The developers even showed it in action by publishing a short video. In it, in addition to a lengthy story about the development of technology in the performance of the head of a startup, you can see a small demonstration of the capabilities of the device.
The design of the AR from Avegant is somewhat reminiscent of the same HoloLens, but by its capabilities it is still far behind, but this is temporary. The developers are planning to finalize their headset and release a full-fledged competitor to the market in the near future.
