Passengers of the airline JetBlue Airways, which initiated the experiment, will not even have to get their passports and other documents to get on board the aircraft. After all, it is enough for the new system to glance at the faces of the people in order to check them through the databases of security services and to register for the flight. The work of the new system is based on reconciliation of the person’s face with the photo stored in the database. Of course, system developers do not expect that everything will go perfectly smoothly. New software is probably still full of flaws, and it will take some time to put it into operation on an ongoing basis.
