Elements of artificial intelligence, used in weapons, will soon become commonplace, but before the AI technology will be massively implemented, it will take a long time.
“In this direction, work is underway; this is a very serious area where fundamental research is required. At the moment, there is some success, but we will work a few more years before specifics, ”quoted TASS, Boris Obnosov.

Such rockets will not only be able to independently analyze the environment, but without assistance they will decide in which direction to move further, whether the course should be changed, at what speed to make a maneuver, and even which target to choose.
The first flight of a strategic rocket carrier of a new generation is scheduled for 2019, and the missiles, apparently, will begin to be tested later.
