Steve Wozniak to visit Moscow and give a public lecture at Moscow State University

The famous co-founder of Apple, inventor, programmer, technogic and just good-natured Stephen "Woz" Wozniak plans to visit the capital of Russia in early October. Woz is known as a man who, in the mid-seventies, almost single-handedly designed the Apple I and Apple II computers, which revolutionized and determined the further development of the computer industry. Steve Wozniak will arrive at the NAUKA 0+ All-Russian Science Festival, and during the event he will give an open lecture during which he will discuss with visitors a wide variety of topics from artificial intelligence to the professions of the future.


The festival NAUKA 0+ will be held from 6 to 8 October at the same time in eighty regions of Russia. This is one of the largest social projects in the field of popularization of science, which is carried out with the direct support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Moscow city government and the leadership of Moscow State University. Lecture by Steve Wozniak will be held in the format of an open dialogue on October 7 from 12:00 to 13:30 in the Hall of the MSU Fundamental Library. Entrance to the lecture is completely free, so everyone can communicate with the famous engineer.

The lecture will be moderated by a researcher at Moscow State University and the CEO of Postgres Professional Oleg Bartunov. The lecture will focus on the development of artificial intelligence, machine learning and how these technologies will change our lives in the coming decades. Other current trends in the field of IT will also be discussed.
